This course will teach you everything about making botanic pieces in clay. I'm working in porcelain in here, but you can use white stoneware as well.
If you're making pieces just for fun or if you're selling the work, in this course I'm teaching you how to use natures most preciuos gifts in your work. Some knowlegde in making ceramic flat pieces is required, but I will show you how to make them all in the clay from start to finish as well, so if you're beginner, you should be good to go.
The course consists of both text and videos in English in different modules.
In this course, I will teach you how to use fresh or dried flowers and plants in your work. We will look at how to select the plants, how to prepare them, how to apply them. Different forms - if you're using a whole leaf or just smaller flowers. How to prepare for bisquefire. And then how I glaze them in different glazes.
You will learn what glazes I use and how I do it. I will make several pieces and show you different ways to apply the glaze.
We will also cover trouble shooting and I’ll tell you all I have learned through trial and error over the years! This will save you a ton of time and money, if you’re looking to learn a new making and glazing technique for yourself.
After purchase, you will be let into the the course.
